About usRegency Carriages has been passed down from father to daughter and have a life time of experience with horses. We hold three licences which we run seasonally on Skegness seafront. Because the horses are worked daily they are excellent in heavy traffic and are extremely fit. Our horses are our paramount concern so when considering a horse and carriage please bear in mind that our horses can pull the carriage a total of 7 miles per day. A car may need to be provided also, if further. his is subject to the road conditions (i.e. hills, rough terrain) however we will always personally check a route once a booking has been made to avoid any disappointments on the day. Our carriages are suitable for all weathers, having folding hoods that can be raised and lowered within 2 minutes We provide flowers and bows in a variety of colours to decorate the carriages. Should you wish to have a specific colour, this is not an issue, but we would ask that you give a sample, in order that we do not obtain the wrong shade! The bride and groom are presented with one of the horse’s shoe that has driven them on the day. This is a traditional good luck omen. We hold full Public Liability insurance |
